Fledge Fiamingo - Chairman

Fledge was born in Namibia,and lived in South Africa for most of his life. His impressive resume includes Drill Instructor in the South African Defense Force, volunteer crew member for the National Sea Rescue Institute, dive master/skipper for Ocean Divers International, photographic safari ranger in three different countries in Africa and assistant campus minister at Christian Campus Fellowship at the University of Georgia. Fledge has been married to his wife, Julie, since 2003, and they have two sons. In his spare time, Fledge enjoys watching TV shows and movies with his wife, playing with the kids, and various outdoor activities such as camping and climbing. Steven Rogers - Treasurer

Steven is a lifelong member of Midway Christian Church in Winder where he currently serves as an elder and Chairman of the Board. He attended the University of Georgia where he graduated with a degree in accounting. Steven is the Chief Financial Officer at Oconee State Bank, where he has worked for the past 15 years. He has been married to his wife Toni for 16 years and they have two daughters, Baylee, 13, and Lindsay, 11. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, watching sports and spending time with his family. Contact Steven Rogers

Sheila Hudson - Secretary

Sheila was born in Georgia and attended Atlanta Christian College and the University of Georgia. She and her husband, Tim, have been married since 1968 and have worked together in pulpit and campus ministry for 42 years. They have two daughters who have given them seven grandsons she affectionately calls ‘The Magnificent Seven’. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, going to Science Fiction conventions, traveling, reading and playing poker, but cherishes time with family the most. Tim Hudson - Chief Operating Officer/Finance Committee

Tim is a native Georgian. He holds five degrees and honors from different colleges, universities and seminaries. Tim comes from a strong Christian background and has enjoyed preaching and teaching about God’s grace and working in Christian ministries for most of his life. He married his wife, Sheila, in 1968 and they have two daughters. Tim has seven grandsons and enjoys spending time with them as well as travelling, writing, reading and being a self-professed geek and technophile. Tim was senior campus minister for 28 years at Christian Campus Fellowship at The University of Georgia. While there he baptized Fledge, and has enjoyed watching his close friend realize the dream of the Son Safaris ministry. He is currently the Emeritus Senior Campus Minister of CCF, and the National Representative for the Association of College Ministries. Contact Tim Hudson

Gary Rachel

Gary was born in New York, and received a Phd. in Biology from the University of Georgia in 2004. Gary and his wife Angela have been married since 2002, and they have two children. In his spare time, Gary enjoys playing with his two children. Currently, Gary is the Senior Grants Officer at the University of Georgia. Contact Gary Rachel

Mac Hamilton

Mac was born and raised in Athens, Georgia, so it was only natural for him to go to UGA after high school. A graduate of the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business, he has spent his career in commercial real estate. Mac and his wife, Catherine, have been blessed with two incredible daughters. As an outdoors enthusiast, he is frequently found hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, and golfing, when possible, the entire family enjoys those experiences together.

Mac and his wife Catherine, met Fledge and Julie Fiamingo in 2009 in the setting of a small group from their church. The Hamilton’s and Fiamingo’s began a three year journey in which they shared life's ups and downs in an environment surrounded by fellow followers of Jesus Christ. Mac has had the opportunity to watch Sons Safaris grow, from its very beginning. After Mac and Fledge being together, as brothers in Christ, and after countless discussions about opportunities for networking, exposure, and expansion of Son Safaris, Fledge surprised Mac with an invitation to join the Board of Directors. To this Mac responded "I feel blessed and honored with the opportunity to become a formal activist for, and supporter of, Son Safaris. To bring my love of Christ and the outdoors together, as a way to further expand the world’s exposure to Christ, is an exciting opportunity." Contact Mac Hamilton

Weldon Davis

Weldon grew up on a cattle farm in southern Virginia. He graduated from Johnson University in Knoxville,TN where he received a degree in Bible and Youth Ministry. He currently serves as the Youth Minister at Hamilton Mill Christian Church in Buford, GA. Weldon is married to Ashley Boone Davis, and they have a four year old daughter, and a little boy due in February 2013. Weldon loves the outdoor life and will go camping and rock climbing any chance he gets. Weldon and Ashley have been following Son Safaris' God-Sized-Dream since its inception. Weldon recently joined the Board of Son Safaris and is very excited to be part of what Son Safaris is doing, and is going to do for the glory of Christ. Contact Weldon Davis

Brian LaRue

Brian LaRue serves as the youth minister at Galilee Christian Church since 2008. Before working at Galilee he served at Central Christian Church in St. Petersburg, FL. from 2000-2008. Brian is a graduate of Kentucky Christian University with a degree in Bible and Youth Ministry. Brian's passions are his family, working with students, and short term mission trips. His wife, Sarah, is a high school teacher of special education and mathematics and they have three children Sadie, Hannah and Isaac. Contact Brian LaRue
