Are you an Elementary, Middle, or High School Teacher or do you home school your kids and part of a co-op? Whether invited to share in a public school or faith-based environment, these immersive multi- media events are tailored and designed to fit a variety of curricula ranging from learning about African animals, conservation and caring for our planet.

Invite Safari Ranger Fledge Fiamingo to your classroom for a virtual safari!

Fledge travels from Athens, GA, and has been invited to speak to thousands of children at numerous schools throughout the Carolinas, Georgia, Alabama, and Florida.

Interactions hosted by Safari Ranger Fledge Fiamingo are fabulously interactive and presented with a “SHOUT OUT IF YOU KNOW THE ANSWER” emphasis that kids love!

We will customize your virtual safari around a specific theme, your curriculum, and age group. Regardless of the specifics, you can expect a wonderful safari experience which includes:

  • Learning about the lions, cheetah, leopards and hyenas.

  • How to tell the difference between White and Black rhino and the different types of zebra.

  • How much does an elephant weigh and how many muscles are actually in the trunk?

  • The wonders of vultures, spiders and dung beetles and how all this is connected.

*It is Son Safaris policy and Fledge’s desire that no group be turned away due to a venues budget restraints. Inability to meet the normal honorarium is not the determining factor on Fledge speaking for your event.

Fledge came to Oconee County Primary School on Earth Day for an in-house field trip for our 175 first graders. He did two sessions. He engaged every first grader and the 11 educators. He taught the students about animals and their characteristics. He had an engaging presentation using beautiful pictures and videos using our Smartboard. His stories were so engaging. OCPS will be requesting him every year as he met every animal standard in our science unit. What an amazing presentation and presenter! - A. Stanton
